Fendi
Fendi is an Italian fashion house launched in 1925 as a Roman fur and leather shop. In 1965, the Fendi family hired emerging talent Karl Lagerfeld (then a stylist who had trained under Pierre Balmain and Jean Patou). In 1977, Fendi, led by Lagerfeld, debuted womenswear quickly followed by menswear, denim and fragrances. Bought up by LVMH in 2007, the brand continues to be at the forefront of innovation by fusing classic Italian elegance with novel design and technique.
